The Bulgarian military wool overcoat is a vintage model from the Bulgarian People’s Army that was designed in the late 1970s when the country was still under communist rule. Moreover, this Soviet-inspired model has historical significance as its use is dating back to the Cold War era when Bulgaria was one of the members of the Warsaw Pact. Therefore, the Bulgarian military wool overcoat represents a prime model of the Eastern Block’s fine military clothing.
As for the design, the Bulgarian military wool overcoat is made from heavy-duty wool thus it can provide you with warmth and comfort during the cold winters. Additionally, it has six buttons that are designed with a five-pointed communist-style star. Also, it has a collar and buttoned epaulets with two front pockets and a buttoned lower back strap. It's exactly as depicted. The seller was informative and helpful. Shipping was ridiculously fast, I got it within a few days. The wool does make you a little itchy and it smells strongly of naphthalene. I think it would need to be tailored in order to look good but it arrives very functional. 100% wool as per my research for a very affordable price.
